Takaomi Yanase
Mr. Yanase started his career with Nankai Company (Japan) and was in charge of their trading company operations in the USA. In 1977 they opened a bat manufacturing factory in Greenville, South Carolina. This factory was sold to Louisville Slugger in 1999 and Mr. Yanase was kept on to run the factory for 4 additional years. In 2003 he retired from his position with Louisville Slugger and started Yanase Bat Company in Tokyo, Japan. Over the past 16 years Yanase Bat Company has grown to become one the largest bat supplier in Japan and is just opening to the USA market.

With Mr. Yanase’s expertise in bat making and his relationships developed with wood suppliers over the past 43 years allow us to provide the highest quality bat on the market. Each of his bat making machines are proprietary to his process and custom made in Japan.
